Cat City Adventure

Max says: Ending it with a boom. (crash!)

Kuching Trip: The Fifteen Hour Bus Ride
(a.k.a. We're never getting There)

We departed from SMK Chung Hua Miri at 6 am, after many minutes of battling for seats and generally squeezing excess luggage to the back rows of seats. It was a long bus ride, obviously, and we had to make that time pass somehow, so we played UNO on the bus (staggering feat, the deck had to go on the floor), slept for a few hours, stopped occasionally for full bladders and meals, and counting how much longer before we eventually go crazy.

Evidence of our craziness: Christy and Kiminko formed a club called HSB, with me as a 'trainee' and Kimisawa as manager of the club. HSB stands for High School Blondes, by the way.

Oh, and pictures =)

Eventually after grumbling for a few hours, we arrived at Kuching and took our dinner at some random place. Where I fell down and scraped my knee against the pavement. Ouch. We also received prank calls about Room Service. Lol. They're pretty good, I assure you.

Anyway, it goes a bit uninteresting just about here, so skip.

Quote of the day: "This has got to be the first time that we go on a trip with friends and HAVE to wear masks. Stupid virus."

Kuching Trip: Of Cat Museusm and Rehearsals
(And cam-whoring the whole time)

Woke up at 5.30 today, for no obvious reasons. Then again almost everyone woke up early, with the exception of some who won't wake up even if the building collapsed. It is also on this day that we realized that we were staying right opposite St. Mary Kuching Primary.

Anyway, after taking bath and having breakfast at another random place (we have all our meals outside, I realize) we went to The Cat Museum, situated at the top of a high hill. On this hill we could see a nice Kuching view =)

Cat Museum

Entrance is free, but taking pictures in it is not. So I paid RM 4 to bring the camera in for some real cam sessions...

Stuck again!

Oh, and for the sake of mentioning it, Kiminko wore a mask which had "I love MJ" all over it. Which attracted quite a lot of stares, since she also wore it to rehearsal.

Anyway, after the Cat Museum we went for rehearsal at the Pustaka Negeri, where to our shock we realized that the puny (no offense, but seriously, it's even smaller than SMK Baru's) and noisy stage (thanks to the hollow sounds emitted from just stepping on it) could not fit our third row people. They could hardly stand, even in a curve formation. So we had to go up on stage multiple times to adjust ourselves to even fit on the stage. Seriously.

After the rehearsal we went to eat out AGAIN! Timber model bought some nice dim sum for supper, which he shared with me. Slept at 11, after gossiping a while. Ahahaha. Somehow we all got the Dummyfish gossip fever =.=

Quote of the day: "I heard that SMKCHM got H1N1" (obviously folks, it was about the rumour)

Kuching Trip: Save The Date
(Not our best, definitely)
Our staggering defeat. And my only explanation is it's because that we started off at the wrong foot. Hence the saying that the beginning counts a lot towards your first impression. For one, the stage grew longer overnight and we had to drop all our third row curve ideas. Secondly, The starting got a bit messed up, though I wasn't sure why. Untimely mistakes? Thirdly... I'll have to tell you personally about the third one, because it's so much nicer if I acted it out. LOL.

We did obtain some experience on some techniques we could improve on, and are currently planning our next strategy to take back that glory. Don't worry, we don't fail twice. Never.

Anyway, for non-winners, we still had the intent to party to the last moment, so we partied. Hard ;)

For the first part, we went to the Spring, home to expensive branded stores. I don't even know why we chose that place. Anyway people said it was good, so we went.

At first we didn't know where to go, because there were only clothes shops like Bodyglove, Levi, and some I don't really remember anymore. There weren't many tgifts shops that I could get my hands on, except the one called Urban Living, which I say is pretty sweet.

Anyway, we went to have supper at -you guessed it- a random placed called Mega One. Though I don't really count it as supper. I haven't had my dinner like the rest after all.
Mmmmmm...

After supper we went back to the hotel and had a party in Room 400.

Underage much. xD
No matter, what you do, it's STILL grape drink.

Anyway we stayed up pretty late that day, considering it was our last night in Kuching. Dummyfish invited us to his room where our little elite group of 11 were playing random games. One of them was called "I Love You/ I Hate You".

It was a pretty simple game but we made it soo funny. It was a passing game where if you want to pass a turn to the person on the right, you say "I Love You" and if you want to pass a turn to the person on your left, you say " I Hate You". The whole game goes on until someone makes a mistake or gets speechless.

Angel to Kevin: I LOVE YOU! (makes a heart sign)
Kevin : I hate you! (swinging motion) One cut! Two piece!
Angel : I still loveeee you!
Kevin : Eesh... don't understand har, two cut four piece!!

Anyway, we slept at 2.30am, because we got so carried away with talking and playing. After that my roomates and I staggered back to our room, where I crashed instantly like I had a bad hangover. Lol.

Kuching Trip: Coming back!
(Another butt-flattening experience)
I found this picture kinda cute. lol.

I woke up at 4.30am at the sound of the alarm from Tommy's handphone (which I had to bring around because he kept leaving it everywhere he went) and did some last-minute rush packing. My two roomates at that time were still sleeping peacefully (resting for the night) eventhough I was banging around while during my packing. lol.

We departed at 5.30 am. Most of us were sleeping and Adeline's gang took videos of our way home. So there. You'll have to poke around to see what exactly happened. Lol.

In the afternoon Dummyfish talked about his adventures in SMKCHM right from the time he was in peralihan to Form 4. Like now he met up with his current friends and all. It's pretty interesting, to be honest. After he got lazy talking I talked to Timber model about this year's team. Talked for about two hours, so to seem. Tommy had the people in the back seats talking about next year's script. As if it were that easy. Sigh.

Arrived SMKCHM at 8.30 pm. At that time it was so dark it was impossible to see ANYTHING. We also did one last round of reciting the script, together with a few add-ons and parodies.

And this so concludes the Cat City Adventure, and an epilogue to this year's team history.

And one last thing: We NEVER fail twice.
