CNY Craze!

Max says: crazy!
All photos from our professional photographer today... Sylvia!

Today I just had a really packed day, starting from 9.30 am, when someone came knocking on my door. Well, it was Blank, who wanted to follow my car to Mallory's place. We went to her place around ten thirty.

And the fun began! xD We did mostly random stuff... like trying out her karaoke machine. A little bit loud for the neighbours!!!

After that we walked- yes, walked - to Erika's house, and was greeted by an episode of Tom and Jerry, courtesy of her brother.

Color photo! xD
We also dropped by Joyce's house, and played Jenga- yes that blocks thingy. Also everyone wanted to have a try at the piano. Lol. We also went to Joshua's house for lunch! Spaghetti :D And yes, everyone wanted the piano. Again xD

Then we landed ourselves in Blank's house, which caused some people to panic since Keira the MIGHTY CHIHUAHUA came running and barking (and biting toes). Some of them actually freaked and "ran for their lives". But it was all okay when we started playing Catch with her...

Reminds you of those old family pictures...
Keira!!

After around half past five I went back home only to get picked up by Kiminko, who brought me to Kimisawa's house. We got tortured by her younger brother- yes you heard that. YOUNGER- the whole time, lol.

Anyway, it might be late, but happy Chinese New Year anyway! xD

Something Random

Max says: Skittaalllleeee!!

As everyday is Random Day, today will have its respective random post.

While poking around on the internet, I found a commercial that looked quite interesting. :D Watch it.

I mean, wouldn't it be like fun if everybody just starts bursting into random dance step moves and still look great? xD Simply said, people look good when they get into the rhythm, and start working together.

Anyway, I have been poking around in flash-based games too (you have nothing to do, huh) so I randomly came across another addition to the ever-famous GROW series.

GROW TOWER
With its incredibly cute design, this is definitely a heart-warmer. And the music's pretty great too. :D Do try out all the GROW games. >>>GROW TOWER

And also, for all you fans of weird pointless FUN games out there, I got something random on the list:

Nicholas' Weird Adventure 2
It's a great time-waster, and it has this old school RPG style to it. It is pointless and random though, like, let's say, exchanging a dead fish for a live one just because the little girl thinks dead animals are easier to take care of. Right. >>> Nicholas' Weird Adventure

And for typical room-escape fans, I came across the ever-so-beautiful Charger Escape. The great part of this is that there's no pixel-hunting, and more relies on puzzle-solving skills. I admit it's a bit random too. xD

Charger Escape
And look at the bright side, it has a horse.>>>Charger Escape

Unlike all my favorite physics- style games (like... let's say... Epsilon and SHIFT!) Electric Box is not really a physics-based game, more like a connect-the-dots game really. Like those ones where you play the plumber and you have to connect the pipes. But this one, it's with electric current.

Electric Box
"Mom! I burned my finger!" >>> Electric Box

Anyway, it's late now, so night. :D

Works of Imagination

Max says: Holidays.

In the very blink of the eye, the holidays have come. Again. thought this time, it's different. MUCH different. This time I'm actually studying. I find that the way I study now is much more hard work than studying for sems last year. Oh, it proves EVERYTHING doesn't it.

Now to see Max's new toy :D

No, wait. Not this. This is just the casing-thingy. xD
Seagate Freeagent Go 320GB External Drive
And it's thin. And sleek. And pretty.

I got it due to the mass amount of growing photos and documents and videos and personal stuff. No, seriously. Suddenly my internal drive is getting mass overload, so I had to find another option to store my stuff. I'm a quite organized person computer-wise, so I tend to clean up and arrange my files every now and then.

Well, at least I'm not obsessive-compulsive.

On better news today, it's almost Chinese New Year! I haven't had a confirmed plan lately, really. Just doing it as it comes. I wonder though, what to do. Life seems nothing-to-do-ish as it is.

Also, I seemed to have picked up writing again, and so have posted something on Fiction Press, after letting it go stale a while. My Fiction Press profile link>>> Max Phray

I probably should start writing again. Sigh.

Saturday Freak

Max says: Bad day...

Ah, crap. A Saturday as a school day? What could get any worse than this? (Hint: rotten chocolate!) School on Saturday is just plain... sad.

No, seriously.

It felt like a rotten Monday. Besides, today was equally a bad day for me. I wasn't feeling very well (lack of sleep due to... stuff), felt like puking (nausea), and a certain calm-hyper attitude I develope to lack of sleep (read as: Unstable Mental Condition). Which gets freaky in a sense, but whatever.

The most important thing is: I'm cataloging today as one of the most perfectly crap-tastic days of my life. No more details.

So far my week has been pretty up-and-downs lately, though it was mostly hovering towards the "crap" side. Oh well. I seem to be forcing the days to pass anyway. Some thoughts are just too painful to linger too long in my mind. I just wonder when all these crap days would stop.

It's not funny anymore.

Sick

Max says: Achoooooo!

From xkcd, one of my favorite sites :D

Okay, so maybe i'm not supposed to be online right now, but just want to give an update on things. Well, for one, i'm sick. For another, I'm still not used to the workload (schoolwork, writing competition essays, extra-work from KK) all at the same time, since I usually skip schoolwork. But since this year's exam year, however crappy it may be, I'm still supposed to do schoolwork. Because my teachers actually MIND about students not doing their schoolwork, unlikes last year's.

To be honest, last year was all... play and minimal work. xD Bad, eh?

Anyhow, due to the current condition of me needing more sleep and being depressed over everything and nothing, and also getting sick, my blog will need to go stale this week. Sigh.

I still hate school.

Cookie day.

Max says: Mmmmm... COOKIESSS!

What does Max do on random Sundays? She bakes! (even if I told you guys I can't bake for my life, I tried it. Woot.)

Cookie~
Some of them kinda look ugly. Lol.
Well, nothing much to add down here, just dreading school is tomorrow. AGAIN. *Sigh* I want the holidays to come again...

Degeneration

Max says: Shoot 'em in the head.

Well, have been poking around the classic Resident Evil gameplays (as you know my love for zombie horror kind), since I have practically nothing to do, except study. So I chose not studying.

It's Saturday, dude. i'll catch up on studying tomorrow. xD

Resident Evil: Degeneration is a CGI version of the movie, starring Leon S. Kennedy (which is, like, my favorite character in the series) and Claire Redfield. I haven't finish watching the movie, just parts of it on Youtube. Ha-ha.

One of my favorite lines from Leon, when he was standing in the lobby filled with zombies: "We take out as many as we can........ and run like hell."

So if you happen to see the DVD or something in stores, do tell me x_x I want to get it, lol. SERIOUSLY. So do, do look out for it. It's really great (even when I only saw like, half of it) and I really want to get the DVD. :D

And on other news, I still hate studying. Exams almost like, everytime and quizzes and ....

You know what? Save the whining for another day. xD

School

Max says: I hate school. Woot?

School just happened to start on Monday, and it also HAD to be the most dreaded day ever.

But it passed like any other day. So let's just keep the crap down, shall we ;)

My life like a rubic cube... I still don't understand it.

Check Yes Juliet
Run, baby, run

Don't ever look back
They'll tear us apart
If you give them the chance
Don't sell your heart
Don't say we are not meant to be
Run baby run
Forever we'll be
You and me

Anyway, since I have apparently out of ideas to blog about, and I don't feel like blogging about my teachers (they're actually better than last years'), but I'll list down things I can't believe in my Form 3 life.

My First Week was probably like this:

Doodle Time!

When I came to school, I expected teachers to start analyzing students, seeking weaknesses. Or whatever they do. Their stuff, in a way. But, nooo, teachers come in, and they'll say: "You're having PMR this year. Behave well." Or something around those lines. Some even lecture for an hour. Like PMR is some kind of incurable disease.

Well, I totally expected that.
Then there's a fact that someway along the line they'll say something like, "Study! Study! Study!" Maybe not so directly, but the point gets across. Really. Then to make their point stab you in your heart, they give you tons of homework.

Still, THAT was expected.
Then they come to the horrible fact that if you don't study, you screw up PMR, you screw up your life. Which I found interesting because I find that you don't screw up your whole life in PMR. You screw part of your life which might screw up your life in SPM. But then again, you're screwed.

Or they'll be the ones taking your head off first.
Then! After a whole period of telling you how to NOT SUCK at PMR, or your life, some of them finally start teaching. Which is good. I guess? Though some should teach better. Because it gets really boring, and redundant. Some students do their own stuff (studying, homework, reading) while others just go blank-out mode. Not very strategic way of teaching when nobody's listening.

I never sleep in class. Really!
Then it comes to the fact that if we don't rule PMR, PMR eats us up. Even if isn't, y'know, a big deal if you PMR owned you. Right?

Wrong.
Okay, so my first week would have been a little on the exaggerate-side. But I'm just building healthy fear. Healthy fear is good, no? xD

And no, I don't care you post-PMR kids are saying how PMR is so darn easy. Admit it. You were scared before. Who wasn't?

Then again, just... good luck for all this year's PMR kids. :D You won't know how much you need.

2009 Prologue

Max says: Let's celebrate? xD
Again another Happy New Year to everyone! Today's officially the first day of 2009. So, technically, I just need to get a few things straight.

- I do not like the number '2009'. It doesn't sound right.
- I'm happy it's the year of the COW, because COWs rock. I guess.

Oh, and hopes for the new year. :D Somewhat like New Year Resolutions or something. Anyway, let's get started. xD

- I can blog at least once a week.
- Straight A's for my PMR (lol... I actually do care)
- Live life in a budget. Seriously. Actually, I already do. xD
- I hope...

Okay, the last one is a secret actually. :)

Enjoy 2009 everyone! xD
